In 2021 the Danish renowned fashion brand, Saks Potts opened the doors of their pop-up shop behind Atelier September, in Gothersgade, Copenhagen. The concept behind was to create a space that represented the perfect closet, a wardrobe that lasts and thrives for years, with each piece having its own functions, values and memories attached. In 2022, continuing their collaboration with Saks Potts, RSSAA was commissioned to create a renovation and interior project for Saks Pott’s new head quarters in Bredgade, Copenhagen. The project was a transformation of a traditional danish pharmacy. Wooden cabinets were constructed alongside the empty walls of the space, contrasting and underlining the traditional woodwork of the pharmacy. On the occasion of the commission to carry out the concept and interior project for Saks Potts, RSSAA created our first full object series (OS), with sculptural pieces tailored to the space, like LS07 Standing lamp, TB01 Table and DB01 Daybed while experimenting with the use and combination of traditional materials such as wood, steel, stone and tadelakt.
